Rakhi ka Insaaf- Hit or another flop story?

Hello everybody!

This is the first post of this blog. In this post, I’ll let you all know my take on a recently premiered TV show- ‘Rakhi ka Insaaf’.

This weekend, when I tuned in my television, I saw Rakhi Sawant on Imagine TV. As we all know that Rakhi is well known for her blabber mouth, it’s always amusing to see her on TV shows. Hence, I started watching it. Within a short while I get to know that it was Rakhi’s new TV show- ‘Rakhi ka insaaf’.

Rakhi Sawant is indeed not new to the small screen. She has already appeared in several other TV show (creating big controversies), out of which ‘Rakhi ka sawiavar’ and ‘Aap ki adalat’ were the most talked about. But, this appearance was expected to beat all the previous records.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of her, yet I like the way she talks. It actually amuses me. Last time when she was doing the swaiamvar, I saw few episodes of the show, found it lousy and hence quit watching them. But this time, going against all the odds, she is actually doing well. I was impressed with the decision she took in the last episode.

Before I jump to that episode, let me tell you what this show is about. If you remember, sometimes back, there was a show hosted by Kiran Bedi (I don’t remember the name), in which she judged the cases (most of the time – social issues) that were brought in the show. It was indeed a good show but didn’t work out since it wasn’t result oriented (from my perspective). ‘Rakhi ka insaaf’ is similar to that show.

But it won’t be wrong to say that this TV show is a kind of advanced version of the show hosted by Kiran Bedi. I believe that this show is very result oriented and it actually has something good that can be helpful for the society (source- last episode).

In the last aired episode, there was family having lot of troubles. That case was filed by a widow (I’m not sure but I think her name was ‘Shabina’), whose kids were taken by her sisters (this was said by Shabina). This was one issue. Another issue was with a guy (I don’t remember his name). Every string that connected the members of this family was so messed up that it was almost impossible for anyone to soothe them.

But to my surprise, Rakhi Sawant did this and just like bollywood movies, there was a happy ending to this story.

Good work Rakhi! Keep it up!
